The Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) committee is comprised of:

What the JEDI Committee Does and Does Not Do
The Committee Does:
- Organize annual climate survey, collect results and share with the department
- Organize town hall meeting with CALS DEI on Friday @ 4 regarding continuity of JEDI work
- Organize JEDI-related presentations and trainings for the department
- Organize social activities for cultural awareness and community building
- Handle informal complaints via the informal reporting form
- Delegate cases to chair, college, or other units as needed
The Committee Does Not:
- Handle formal grievances or complaints
- Circumvent the formal process
- Take sides
